Personal Grooming
We will gladly provide bathing, shaving, hair combing, oral hygiene, and simple podiatry care for your loved one, as well as ensuring they dress in clean, weather-appropriate clothing.

Meals
We provide three meals per day with snacks in a common area seven days a week. Menus are prepared and approved by a licensed dietician, three to four weeks in advance and special diets are prepared as required.

Family Visits
We welcome and encourage family visits as regularly as possible, as well as family participation in the development of Care Plans for their senior family members.

Mobility
We will maximize your senior family member's mobility by assisting them with walking or getting around safely with or without supportive devices.

Laundry & Housekeeping
At Sunset Home, we believe that cleanliness is next to godliness. We therefore offer housekeeping and laundry daily and as needed by our 24-hour staff.

Toileting
We understand that incontinence and toileting can be a difficult and sometimes embarrassing experience for your loved one. We therefore provide them assistance in a way that is gentle, understanding, and allows them to maintain their dignity.

Access to Healthcare
Sunset Home for the Elderly will arrange appointments and provide transportation to appropriate health care and social services such as physicians, nurses, social workers, and dentists.

Social & Spiritual
We provide and/or arrange opportunities that will promote the physical and mental health of each resident, to include facilitating access to spiritual and religious worship services, social activities such as games, bingo, exercise classes, trips to the mall, and access to our beautiful garden.

Medication Management
The attention to detail required to keep track of one's medication can be stressful and any mistakes can have dire consequences. We therefore have specially trained staff to both supply and provide medications.
